Here at the solent inn we pride ourselves on our music. Normally, through out the year, our live music nights are, Thursdays, Fridays and Sunday afternoon. We have masses of different bands playing blues, classic rock, 60s rock, Irish, folk, and all manner of good pub music.Over the years, the Isle of Wight has produced some excellent bands, most of which have at some point played at the Solent inn, and still do on a regular basis. Our Sunday afternoon gigs are hugely popular with locals, islanders and even mainlanders. It's quite common for boat owners and yachtsmen to moor up at Ryde marina (only a couple of hundred yards away) on a Saturday morning in preparation of a wonderful weekend of good food, real ales and good music, and not forgetting our Summer barbecues in the large beer garden, ideal to keep the kids quiet.
