People have been coming to the Solent Inn for over two centuries, little reason why, with its superb location, a 10 minute walk from the main hubbub of Ryde ( Union Street ) and only a couple of hundred meters from the seafront esplanade, Ryde Marina and beach, and also only 15 minutes from the Wightlink catamaran, Hovertravel hovercraft and Ryde train station and if you have your car, only 10 minutes away from the car ferry.
So it makes the ideal place to relax and unwind on our quieter afternoons and evenings, either in our child and dog friendly ( children allowed untill 9pm ) bars, or in our large beer garden, and you'll feel like you're in the countryside.
Wednesday nights are quiz nights, then everything steps up a notch on Thursday, and Friday nights, as they are our live music nights and also on Sunday afternoons, normally with a barbecue, so you're always find something to enjoy at the Solent Inn.

If that's not enough reasons to vist us,then what about, there are always six real ales available, that are constantly changing, including one island brewed ale, "Blonde" from the Yates brewery.
